Despite the loss, the relationship comtinued. The storyline became more controversial, with footage of Trish cavorting in a bubble bath, Vince forcing her to strip on Raw, and Linda Mcmahon being drugged up. Thankfully, it all came to an end at Wrestlemania, with Trish slapping Vince and siding with Linda.

After this, Trish began to flounder from one thing to the next. Shortly before Invasion, it appeared like she had a soft spot for Jeff Hardy, but nothing has been made of it since. Speaking of Invasion, she and Lita teamed up and beat Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler in a Bra and Panties Match. It was during this match that Trish suffered an ankle injury that would keep her on the shelf until October.

In the meantime, she co-hosted Excess with the Coach (not very well at first, but she has been improving), and returned in October on Raw, showing off her lingerie to Mick Foley (though she wasn't included in the Lingerie Match at No Mercy). At Survivor Series, she captured the women's title and since returning, has showed great promise in the ring. Sure, she's competed in the gimmick bouts, but she's shown that she can wrestle to a decent standard aswell. Her recent storyline romance with The Rock is another positive step, and there's alaways another divas photo shoot right around the corner! Stratusfaction indeed!
