Journey North: A Global Study of Wildlife Migration
(The Annenberg CPB Math and Science Project)

From examining signs of spring to charting animal migrations, study Spring's Journey North! For example, CLICK HERE to see a monarch butterfly migration map and find out where the monarch is TODAY! Connect with the Blake School and learn about their trip to a monarch sanctuary in Angangueo, Mexico! Read about el Rosario, the monarch sanctuary, en Espaņol!
Your class can participate, too! In fact, you can link to the Phenology Data Exchange and arrange to connect your class with a class in a partner school. Then, you can have your students use nature's clues to find where their partner school is located. Or, like the Blake students, you can track an animal like the monarch and Report Your Sightings for all to use!
You can also use this site to learn and create lessons! For example, learn about climate and the sun's role in living ecosystems!
