The Fighting Knights of Torrington/Waterbury

It’s Over! Fighting Knights Hockey, which began in late 1998 through the inspiration and dedication of several young lads eager to take part in the growing phenomenon of Roller Hockey has been laid to rest – at least for now. Through the work and the collaboration of a great supporting cast, a core of several young men searched for season-style play after scrimmaging for so long in random parking lots, drive ways, and tennis courts. Eventually, the Waterbury Dekhockey League became home. After numerous roster changes and one captaincy change the team still remained strong to spite an overall losing record. As time flew by, people came and went, and eventually by mid-summer of 2003 the team had lost its charm all together and folded. Below you will see a list of random names, their positions, and the years they played for the team in, marking the near complete roster of the Fighting Knights in their glorious history.
