I am a very big animal lover, and as I sat watching the movie tonight with my dog squeezed in the chair beside me, I thought how my dog looked about as scruffy as Toto. I would like to know more info about Toto. Who's dog was he? Did they have animal rig t's guidelines on the set back then like they do today? What ever happened to Toto after the movie? Does anyone know when he died, and if there are any direct descendants of him anywhere today? Who doesn't love the Wizard of Oz? One thing that I think was really interesting about the original book is that it was really all about politics. I don't recall exactly but I think the straw man stood for the farming interests, the tin man for industry and such.
