William learned air conditioning from his father. He was a founder of Creative Control Designs, Inc. which was acquired by Johnson Controls in 1998. He is now retired and involved with his church.

Elaine is a secretary for a Methodist church.

William and Elaine's children are:
1. April Kay (19-Apr-1975). April married Sam (withheld). They have a son, Luke, 19-May-2006.
2. Christopher William (28-Aug-1977), Chris married Nikki (unknown). They have two daughters, Emylie was born on 13-May- 2004 and Madison who was born 5-Jun-2006. Chris works as the creative media specialist at a church in New Albany Ohio. Nikki provides day care services in their home; and
3. Kimberly "Kim" Ann (9-May-1982) is a therapist working with autistic children in an elementary school and through MRDD. She married 29-Sep-2007 Jared (withheld), a civil engineer in Columbus.
