Le Mans, France - June, 2000. 1720 miles from Felixstowe, England to Le Mans, France
and back. 41 hours in the C5 (not including sleeping in the car during the race - GM
did have cots in their hospitality tent, but it was quieter in the car). 9 days round
trip, 23 average MPG. $410 on gas (that's 15 pounds and 2700 francs - Gas is
$4.90/gallon in England and $4.30 in France). 45 average MPH, 0 speeding tickets, $90
in tolls. No C5 problems (for me).
Check out Chaz Cone's Page to see
the itinerary and more pictures from the trip.
