Las Vegas, Nevada - May, 2000. We flew out to Nevada to go to the Bragg-Smith
Advanced Driving School which uses only C5 Corvettes to instruct students the basics
of sports car racing. We took the Level One A program.

While in Vegas we took the opportunity to rent a Dodge Viper GTS from
Rent-A-Vette
We drove out to the California border town Primm to go on the Desperado roller coaster
at Buffalo Bill's Resort & Casino. This coaster used to have the longest drop in the
world, before Japan topped it. The drop was great, but the rest of the ride was bumpy.
We spent quite some time just admiring the Viper
On the way back we took a side road through the desert
Cassie demonstrates that the seat belt starts from the other side of the seat, as
opposed to most cars. I let her drive, so as you can see, the seat belt is on
the inside.
People actually live out here
Cassie tested out the high speed feel when we got back on the highway
We got back into Vegas, and here is the Pyramid Hotel
At night we walked around a bit and found Dream Car Rentals who have many Vipers and
Ferraris
They had two Hummer
Four Vipers
Four Ferraris
One Plymouth Prowler
And one C5 Corvette - one of the most rare exotics!
Pictures were taken with a Sony Digital Video Handycam and captured with
