"Wild" Wayne visited with Gene Pitney's wife Lynne today to personally offer condolences on behalf of himself and his listeners on Gene's sudden passing and to also offer whatever comfort he could. Although the family is as heartbroken and devasted by his loss as we all are, Lynne wanted to personally thank all of Gene's fans for their outpouring of sympathy and love in this very difficult time for them. Your compassionate thoughts, words and prayers have been a tremendous help in dealing with their grief.The family has invited those who wish to say their final goodbye to Gene can do so by attending the wake on Tuesday, April 11th or the funeral service on Wednesday, April 12th. The details are as follows:
