News: GWO Information - 28/1/2004

Before GTO there was a manga called Shonan Junai Gumi, and before that there was another manga called Bad Company. Bad Company is about when Eikichi Onizuka and Ryuji Danma first met. Well anyway, getting to the point, i shall be hosting the Bad Company manga on GWO when it is up. I have the whole first chapter uploaded so far, so when GWO is up, the first chapter of Bad Company will be there aswell for you all to enjoy. ^_^

Hyper Street Fighter II to have anime bonus
Capcom have announced a European release date for 'Hyper Street Fighter II', a definitive Playstation 2 version of the classic video game that they have produced to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the original. The anime connection is that a free copy of 'Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie' will be included with every copy. The game is due out on 30th April.

News: 5 Months Since Last Update!! - 16/1/2004

Wow, 5 months without an update. Thats gotta be a new record! >_< Anyway, now that im back and can actually be bothered to do something, i have began to make a GTO section for the site. So far its looking pretty damn good, and the main page is almost finished. So when i have some of it ready itll be up for all to see. ^_^

Ok, now to the forum. Invisionfree (the people who host the forum), have had some problems in the last couple of months, causing alot of problems and also deleting all the members. So we need YOU, to help the forum become like it once was! Thankyou... XD

ADV UK aquires new Fist of the North Star anime
ADV UK have announced their aquisition of a new Fist of the North Star anime. The new anime is a three part straight-to-video series that is currently being released in Japan.

News: Another New Forum - 15/8/2003

I'm sorry about not updating for ages. It's because i've had so much trouble with my pc and ended up having to reboot it.

Ok, the new forum. I got this new forum because it has no bandwidth limit, so you can post as you please. The other reason that i got it, is because I can easily ban people's IP addresses. So spamming can easily be dealt with.

Cowboy Bebop DVD release confirmed My contact at Columbia Tristar has confirmed that the Cowboy Bebop will be released in the UK on 13th October. As well as the movie, the DVD will have "6 Featurettes, Filmographies, Character profiles, 2 Music videos, Photo Gallery, Conceptual Art Galleries, 4 Storyboard Comparisons, International Cowboy Bebop Trailer and Cross Promotional Trailers". The price will be £19.99, certificate 12.

News: New Sections Have Arrived - 13/7/2003

It's a little bit late, but as promised, the Inu Yasha and Fushigi Yugi sections have both been uploaded. There are just a few small things that need to be added, then they will be fully complete. I seem to have lost all of my Golden Boy stuff on my computer, therefore I will have to start the site again from scratch... v_v

I did not start the Urusei Yatsura section that I said I would, but instead I began to make a Chobits section. The Main Page can be found by clicking on the Chobits link on the left hand side of Wickio World, in the navigation.

Two new affiliates have been added this time. (Anime Matrix 2010 and Dream/Discover Studios) I helped make Dream/Discover Studios, and that explains why it's so good! ^_^

Manga Entertainment have completed a revamp of their wesite at http://www.manga.co.uk. The other news from them is that the release date of the new DVD edition of Ghost in the Shell has been put back until 22nd September, with still no news of what extras this edition will contain.

News: New Sections On The Way - 26/6/2003

It's been a long time since i updated the site, but i have almost finished the Inuyasha, Fushigi Yugi, and Golden Boy sections. Expect them all to be finished sometime next week. After, those are uploaded, i will start on the Urusei Yatsura section.

Also, the Anime on Sci-fi Website has been added as an affiliate so make sure that you check it out.

I was really getting annoyed with my old forum. It was just rubbish, you couldn't even create your own account and login to make posts. But now, thanks to Snitz Forums 2000, Wickio World has a new forum giving you the ability to login and post as you please. A recent chat with Manga Entertainment revealed the following:

The Patlabor and Blackjack DVDs that were due out on the 12th May have been released on schedule.

23rd June will see the release of Akira: The Ultimate Collection. This is a revised DVD edition of the movie, containing both the new English dub done by Pioneer, and the original Steamline dub.

News: Manga Ent Have New Plans - 11/4/2003

Finally, I have broken up from school for the easter holidays! This means that I will have more time to spend working on the website. But I also have to revise for my exams which come straight after I go back!

Now for the Anime related news! Manga entertainment have just released a bunch of anime DVDs. This new selection will be called 'The Collection'. These include the following:

Red Hawk: Weapon Of Death

Vampire Wars

News: We're Back... - 28/3/2003

Wickio World is back with a brand new look! All of the old sections of the site are still up, aswell as some brand new ones! We now have a Ranma 1/2 section, a Dragon Ball/Z/GT section, an Inu Yasha section, a Urusei Yatsura section and a Golden Boy section! There is also a new discussion forum for you to talk about stuff!

I will try to update the site as frequently as possibly. So, until the next update... Enjoy!
