We both, me and Larry, use to read a
lot via Internet the information about the organizations for
muscular diseases. We also did ask some of them helping us for
my coming in United States next to Larry, where our life
together will be absolutely normal one but still no help.
I considered to put here some links to
the websites where you can read about accessible traveling.
Despite of fact that it has nice landscapes, unfortunately
traveling in Romania is a big adventure for physically
handicapped people. Romania has not accessible transportation at
all. Also they are not adapted cars or van available for rent.
The only one way to travel is being lifted by arms by the
people. In the rail station don't expect that the train will
waiting for you to get in. Better you go to the officer from the
rail station and please him making you a big favor keeping the
train few more minutes in the station.
You find here few links to Romanian
organizations. That is because most of them have not computers
and internet connection. They have few funds so they don't
afford pay for these.
