It is estimated that 30% of the available parking on West Portal Avenue is being taken by business
owners and employees. The negative impact on business is significant.

To alleviate the problem, the following parking areas are recommended.

1. Portola Drive
    Northside – From Dorchester to Laguna Honda Blvd – Unregulated parking
    Southside – From San Lorenzo to Miraloma Drive – Unregulated parking

2. Sloat Boulevard
    North and Southside – Unregulated parking

3. Junipero Serra Boulevard
    Westside – Short area south of Sloat Boulevard – Unregulated parking
    Eastside – From St. Francis Boulevard to Monterey - Unregulated parking

4. Frontage Road (Eastside of Junipero Serra – One Way)
    Westside – From Darien Way to Monterey Boulevard - Unregulated parking
    From Monterey Boulevard to St. Francis Boulevard – 4 Hour Parking

5. Santa Clara Avenue
    South of St. Francis Boulevard - Unregulated parking

NOTE: Please pay attention to Street Cleaning schedules for all areas

Do yourself and West Portal Avenue a favor. Do your parking in the above areas away from the business district. Your job and your business depend on successful business volume. Available Parking in the business district is critical for the use of our clients. Also running out to feed the meters Is not only a nuisance, it is against the law. Be a good neighbor, help yourself and your neighbor’s business by leaving parking for the customers.
