Founded May
11, 1973, Kiwanis Club of West Bradenton is a thriving organization
of service and community minded men and women who support
children and young adults in our community and worldwide.
More than 8,000 Kiwanis clubs in more than 70 countries
make their mark by responding to the needs of their communites
and pooling their resources to address worldwide issues. Through
these efforts, Kiwanis Club of West Bradenton is truly "Serving
the Children of the World." West Bradenton Kiwanis also plays a special role in the developing future generations of leaders. Builders Clubs in middle schools, Key Clubs in high schools, and Circle K Clubs at the collegiate level are all West Bradenton Kiwanis sponsored organizations that teach community service and leadership skills to young people. In addition, West Bradenton Kiwanis is also involved in the Worldwide project that the entire Kiwanis family is committed to: eliminating the devastating effects of iodine deficiency diorders (IDD), the world's leading preventable cause of mental retardation. |
