Founded May 11, 1973, Kiwanis Club of West Bradenton is a thriving organization of service and community minded men and women who support children and young adults in our community and worldwide.  More than 8,000 Kiwanis clubs in more than 70 countries make their mark by responding to the needs of their communites and pooling their resources to address worldwide issues.  Through these efforts, Kiwanis Club of West Bradenton is truly "Serving the Children of the World."

West Bradenton Kiwanis also plays a special role in the developing future generations of leaders.  Builders Clubs in middle schools, Key Clubs in high schools, and Circle K Clubs at the collegiate level are all West Bradenton Kiwanis sponsored organizations that teach community service and leadership skills to young people.

In addition, West Bradenton Kiwanis is also involved in the Worldwide project that the entire Kiwanis family is committed to: eliminating the devastating effects of iodine deficiency diorders (IDD), the world's leading preventable cause of mental retardation.
