The mission to Greenhill begins:

[Riou enters the Great Hall. Viktor, Fitcher, Nanami, Pilika, Flik, Apple, and Shu are there. If you go around and talk to everyone before talking to Shu:]

Viktor:
"So let me here your bad news."

But Viktor, don't you want to hear it?

Flik:
"So you're finally here?"

Shu:
"We've been waiting for you, Lord Riou."

Viktor:
"So what's the bad news you promised yesterday?"

Shu:
"Greenhill has fallen to the Kingdom of Highland."

[Everyone reacts in surprise.]

Viktor:
"...Not again..."

Flik:
"Greenhill is lost, eh... But how did they take Greenhill while most of their forces were in Two River..."

Apple:
"The troops that captured Greenhill apparently number only 5,000 men."

Viktor:
"Wait a second... you can't be serious! Greenhill's got to have at least 7,000 soldiers of its own... You're saying they couldn't defeat a force of only 5,000?"

Shu:
"I've no idea what tactics they used, but they must have been brilliant... Their commander is apparently the leader of Highland's Fourth Army, and Solon's replacement. This is not a man to be taken lightly."

Viktor:
"Then what should we do? We can't just stand back and watch."

Shu:
"Even with the help of the Two River forces, the Orange Army doesn't have enough manpower to re-take Greenhill."

Flik:
"Are we giving up?"

Shu:
"It appears we'll have to. However, we will get the acting mayor of Greenhill, Teresa, to safety."

Viktor:
"Teresa?? Why? I'm surprised to hear a realist like you say such a thing."

Shu:
"The true mayor of Greenhill, Alec Wisemail, has been seriously ill for many years. Therefore, the handling of the city's affairs has fallen to Teresa. In this capacity, she has gained immense popularity, and has become something of an icon among Greenhill's citizens. If we can get Teresa out of Greenhill, we can expect the co-operation of the populace when the time comes to re-take the city. Likewise, it will simply create more problems for us if the Highland Army is able to keep her under their thumb."

Flik:
"I see... So Teresa is a major morale-booster for the people of Greenhill... So, then, how are we gonna bust her out?"

Shu:
"Greenhill is essentially a college town, and students from countries all over the continent come to study there. I don't think the Highland Army's occupation will stop that. Therefore, Lord Riou and a few others will sneak into the city, pose as students, and rescue Teresa. As for how to get in... Fitcher, I'll leave that to you."

[Fitcher jumps and an exclamation point appears over his head.]

Fitcher:
"What? M, me, sir...? Y, yes, I suppose I can... I've got a lot of friends in Greenhill. I'll work something out... Whew... I'm worked too hard... When will I be able to get some rest...?"

Nanami:
"ALL RIGHT! Let's go!!"

Viktor:
"Wait a second... who said you could come?"

[Pilika hops about excitedly. A music note appears above her head.]

Pilika:
"...!!"

[Viktor sweatdrops.]

Viktor:
"Wait, wait, wait..."

Fitcher:
"Whew... It doesn't matter how many come, since you're meant to be students. Also, only you youngsters should go... It'll make things look less suspicious."

Shu:
"Flik, I want you to go with Lord Riou."

[Flik jumps back and an exclamation point appears over his head.]

Flik:
"Me?"

Shu:
"You will be their bodyguard... and their leader."

Flik:
"Me... their leader...?"

[Music notes appear over Nanami and Pilika's heads. They start circling around Flik.]

Nanami:
"Yay! Teacher Flik, Teacher Flik!!"

Flik:
"Whew... please, just don't call me 'Teacher...'"

Shu:
"Lord Riou, please select your members. As Fitcher said, only those of appropriate school age should go. Also, once you enter Greenhill, you will not be able to change members. Choose carefully."

[Possible choices: Eilie, Bolgan, Tuta, Millie, Shiro, Gengen, Mukumuku, Luc, and Chaco. This time, I chose Luc, Shiro, and Eilie.]

Fitcher:
"We'll leave for Greenhill immediately. After you've finished your preparations, meet us at the Greenhill gates."

[Fitcher leaves.]

Shu:
"Lord Riou, Greenhill is north of Two River. Please be careful."

Viktor:
"Well, good luck Riou. You too, Flik."

(I suggest stopping at the inn in Lakewest on the way to Greenhill for a Warrior's Village Reunion.)

Arriving outside of Greenhill:

Fitcher:
"Lord Flik, these are enrollment papers for the Academy. They're three years out-of-date, so please tell the guards you were delayed by the war."

Flik:
"Uh... yeah, sure... Hey, Fitcher... you seem to be good with, uh, words... couldn't you help us out a little?"

Fitcher:
"I'm afraid I can't. There are many in Greenhill that know my face."

Flik:
"Then I guess I have to go through with it...But what do we do once we're in?"

Fitcher:
"I'm working on finding out Teresa's whereabouts. When I know something, I'll get word to you somehow. Until then, hang on."

Flik:
"Right, got it. Okay, leader, let's go."

Fitcher:
"Wait a second, Flik!! If you use the word 'leader' we'll be found out right away! Look, there's a place for names on these papers... Come up with some fake names and fill them in. I'll leave it up to you."

I think this picking names thing is pretty useless.

Flik:
"What should we do, Riou? You should come up with the names, I'm no good at this."

If you try to name him "Riou":

Flik:
"Uh, Riou... We're meant to be choosing FAKE names here."

[Pick a name for Riou. I'll just use "Hero" for the script.]

Nanami:
"Then, then, I'll be, I'll be... Yeah! Maybe 'Beth?'"

If you try to name her "Nanami":

Nanami:
"No, no, Riou! You can't call me 'Nanami' in there! Think of something else."

[Pick a name for Nanami. This time I named her "D."]

Nanami:
"Wha...? D? Oh well, okay.... I would have liked Beth better, but..."

If you name her "Beth":

Nanami:
"Okay, Beth it is. I won't forget."

Flik:
"And..."
"All right, that's everyone. Okay, let's go."

Nanami:
"Oh no it's not! Flik, you need a name too."

Riou:
[x] "Bluto"
[x] "Blue Thunder"
[x] "Sturtheim Reinbach III"

All choices get the same reaction.

Nanami:
"Oh that's great! Let's go with that!!"

Flik:
"Uh... On the second thought... I'm fine as is. Let's go, Riou! I mean... Let's go, Hero!!"

[They approach the soldier at the gate.]

Soldier:
"Under orders from the Commander, those that have no business in Greenhill may not pass."

Flik:
"We do have business here..."

[Flik gives him the papers.]

Soldier:
"Wha...? You're here to enroll in the Academy?"

Flik:
"Yeah, we got our papers like three years ago... and, uh, there was the war, you know? So we got, uh, delayed, and, well, we came all the way from Kanakan..."

Soldier:
"Uh-huh. And you are...? You don't look like a teacher... These kids... they can't be... your children?"

[Flik backs away.]

Flik:
"What, are you kidding? I'm working for their parents... I'm these kids' bodyguard."

Soldier:
"Well, your papers seem to be in order. You may pass. You better not cause any trouble, though!"

[They enter the city.]

Flik:
"So... what are we going to do until we get our instructions? Right... let's get you enrolled. And don't get distracted!"

Nanami:
"Who's gonna get distracted?? We're not those kind of kids, are we, Riou?"

Flik:
"Okay, okay, let's go."

[Walk about town talking to people if you wish. At a certain point the screen scrolls up to reveal a blonde girl (Nina) and a soldier.]

Soldier:
"OW! Hey what's that about! Stamping on my foot like that!!!!"

Nina:
"Hmph!! That's what you get when you stare at a lady with those perverted eyes!!!"

Soldier:
"Pipe down, little girl, or I won't be responsible for what I do, even if you ARE just a kid!"

Nina:
"Huh? What's that, big man? You want a piece of me, huh? Huh?"

[The soldier takes a step back.]

Soldier:
"Uh... uh... Well..."

Flik:
"What's going on over there?"

Riou:
[ ] "Let's save her!"
[ ] "I didn't see a thing"

"Let's save her!"

"I didn't see a thing"

Flik:
"Whoa, this looks bad."

Nanami:
"That's right! My brother always leaps at the chance to save damsels in distress. Let's go!"

[Nanami and Riou head towards Nina and the soldier.]

Flik:
"Yeah, but... HEY! Wait!!"

[Flik and the others join them. The soldier turns and sees them.]

Soldier:
"And who the hell are you?"

Nanami:
"Grown men that harass little girls can't be forgiven!"

Mind you, Nanami and Nina are the same age.

Soldier:
"Harass?? Are you kidding? She started this..."

Nanami:
"Whatever. Okay, Hero teach him a lesson"

[The soldier steams.]

Soldier:
"Listen to me!!! Now I'm mad!! So you're gonna fight me, kid? What's your name? Hero?"

[Flik steps between the soldier and Riou.]

Flik:
"Stop! Pick on someone your own size."

Soldier:
"What?! Are you trying to make a fool of a Highland soldier? Prepare yourself!!"

Flik:
"Prepare myself...? You're the one who needs to be prepared! Are you really ready to lose your head over this?!"

Soldier:
"Hmph...... Fine. I got a little hot-headed. I'll forgive you...just this once."

[The soldier hurries away.]

Flik:
"Smart move. All right, let's go, Riou... I mean... Hero, D."

[Nanami jumps up and turns to Riou.]

Nanami:
"WHAT?? No way, no way!! Riou, you're not gonna help? Are you a man or a mouse?!"

Flik:
"If we get caught here. it's all over. Come on, Nanami, let's go."

[Nina runs to the group and hides behind Flik. The soldier runs up to them.]

Soldier:
"Wait! Are you running away?!"

[Nina peers out from behind Flik.]

Nina:
"Bleeaaaah!! My big bro here will beat you down!"

[Flik turns to her.]

Flik:
"H, Hey... Wait a second, who...?"

Soldier:
"So now I've gotta fight you, huh?"

Flik:
"You little..."

Nina:
"Yeah! You fools will get beaten DOWN!!"

Soldier:
"Hah!! What are you saying? And what do you expect to do with that pathetic, dull blade?"

{Flik steams and gets up in the soldier's face.]

Flik:
"...!! Hey, you. You want to see, close-up, if this blade really is dull?"

[The soldier backs away.]

Soldier:
"Eh? I..."

[Flik steps toward him.]

Flik:
"I'd be happy to demonstrate its sharpness on your neck."

[The soldier backs away and looks around.]

Soldier:
". . . . . Hmph. This is stupid! I can't be doing this. You! I'll let you get away with this, just this once."

Flik:
"Smart move."

[The soldier hurries away.]

Flik:
"Come on, let's go, Riou... I mean, Hero, D."

[Nanami jumps.]

Nanami:
"You said we should try to lay low, and yet you're the one who's making himself stick out like a sore thumb!"

Flik:
"Shut up! Come on, let's go!!"

[They head off. Nina watches after them.]

Nina:
"Eh?? Ah......"

[Free to head towards the Academy and talk to more people.]

Woman:
"Are you going to the Academy? Be sure to say 'Hello' to the receptionist, Emilia... Sigh... She's not only beautiful, she's got quite a head on her shoulders... I'm smitten."

One of the kids says something wondering if the fast guy with long ears is ever going to come back. It's a reference to Stallion's involvement in saving Teresa in Suikogaiden 1.

At the Academy:

[Emilia is at the front desk. Talk to her.]

Emilia:
"Oh, well, hello, children! What a strange time to be enrolling. Let me see..."

[Flik hands her the papers.]

Speech misattribution ahead. I've corrected it to make sense.

~~Flik~~ Emilia:
"You say you were delayed by the war?"

~~Emilia~~ Flik:
". . . . ."

Emilia:
"Well, it does seem your papers are in order. Welcome to New Leaf Academy, pride of Greenhill! Allow me to show you children around. By the way..."

[She moves in front of Flik.]

Flik:
"Wh, what?"

Emilia:
"These children... are they yours?"

[Flik jumps and sweattles.]

Flik:
"C'mon be serious. I'm their escort, their escort!"

Emilia:
"I see...of course. All students live in the dormitories at the west end of the campus. The first two weeks of schooling are orientation, during which your attendant may stay at the lodging house east of the dorms."
"Remember, students that prove to be problematic during orientation will be expelled... so be good."

Riou:
[ ] "I understand."
[ ] "Yes, ma'am!!"
[ ] "Eh..."

"I understand." OR "Yes, ma'am!!"	"Eh..."
Shiro: "Wuff!" Luc: "Yeah..." Eilie: "Yes, ma'am." (Tuta: "Yes, s... I mean, ma'am!!") Emilia: "Ah, fine replies, I think you children will do fine. Come with me, I'll show you around."	Emilia: "Where's your self-confidence, children? You don't have to be so worried. Please come along now, let's get you acquainted."

[Emilia leaves.]

Nanami:
"Um, um, I guess we are a little nervous -- it's our first time at a school."

Flik:
"Hey, hurry up or we'll be left behind."

[Go find Emilia. Talk to her.]

Emilia:
"Down here we have the blacksmith, Runemaster, and appraisal classrooms. You'll find trainees in each; be sure to talk with them. Up on the second floor are the study halls. During orientation, you may go anywhere on campus, to decide what your major will be."
"Do you understand?"

Riou:
[ ] "Yes, ma'am."
[ ] "Yes, ma'am!!
[x] "Yeah."

Shiro:
"Waoooh."

Luc:
"Naturally..."

Tuta:
"I see."

[Shin walks by.]

Emilia:
"Oh... Lord Shin."

Shin:
". . . . .?"

Emilia:
"These are some new students, and their escort."

Shin:
"I see... Excuse me."

[Shin leaves.]

Flik:
"Who was that?"

Emilia:
"That was the acting mayor's attendant, but she's been missing since the assault... Teresa, that is."

Flik:
"Missing, huh..."

Emilia:
"It's getting fairly late, so be sure to go straight to the dorms after you walk around the school a bit. Well then, everyone, I must be going. I trust you will all become fine students at our Academy!"

[Emilia leaves.]

Flik:
"All right, let's look around. We might be able to find some clues as to Teresa's whereabouts."

When you leave the Academy:

[The group sees Nina and another girl walking. Nina is walking backwards in order to talk to her friend.]

Nina:
"Yeah, really! Omigosh he was SO COOL!! It's as if he was, like, fighting just for me! He was like... My Prince Charming... Oh, I wish you could have BEEN there!"

Girl:
"Are you sure you're not just imagining things again...?"

Nina:
"Of course not. Ohh, those eyes, that smile... the flower of chivalry is not dead... AH!!!"

[Nina spots Flik.]

Flik:
"Huh?"

[Nina runs to him and bounces up and down before him.]

Nina:
"Ahhh...! It's destiny! It's like a dream! We meet again... But what are you doing here? Ah! Did you come... to see me...?"

[Flik sweattles.]

Flik:
"Who are you??"

[Nina steps really close to him.]

Nina:
"Oh, forgive me. My name is Nina. Um, um... I... I wonder... if my lord could tell me... his name?"

[While she's saying that, she keeps inching even closer. Flik keeps backing up until he backs into Luc--and even pushes Luc back a ways.]

Flik:
"H, Hey, wait a second..."

[Nina turns to her friend and Luc pushes Flik back into his spot.]

Nina:
"See? See? This is him! I told you he was handsome, didn't I?"

Girl:
"Uh, I guess..."

Nanami:
"Hey, hey, Flik, let's go."

[Nina goes back to Flik.]

Nina:
"My lord is called Flik? What a wonderful name! If I may be so bold as to ask, whatever is my lord doing here? Y, you couldn't... really be here to see me...?"

Flik:
"Uh... We're just here to see the school..."

Nina:
"Then please, let me be your guide! I know this school like the back of my hand. Shall we be off, then, Sir Flik?"

[Nina drags the sweattling Flik away.]

Nanami:
"Yes? What is it?"

Shiro:
"Waooooh."

Pilika:
"...Whew."

Nanami:
"What is it, Pilika? Hmm? You look tired. Let's go to the dorms and rest, Riou."
