RGBPreprocessing is done before the RGB channels of the image is filtered. It just removes the correlation between the different channels in the image and reduces the redundancy information between the RGB channels in the image. It is used only for photo quality images where the Red, Green & Blue channels have a strong correlation in their values.

            In order to exploit the redundancy in between the RGB channels i have developed a new algorithm, which can  give up to 70% better compression. I have optimized it very well and only because of it VCG achieves excellent compression for photo quality images.
