Ocean McCloud seems to have it all: her father; Elysa and Loflyn, the caretakers, and their son Manning; her boyfriend; and her best friend. Yet she is haunted by the absence of her mother, who left the family when Ocean was four years old.
    Still, Ocean plods on. When her father decides to get remarried, she's not too fussed. But then her new stepmother and stepsister move in and cause her havoc.
