If only you can see me drowning amidst a pile of clutter, scratching my brain-cap trying to comprehend how the hell did Zeus manage to be father, forefather, husband, paramour, sibling to the same person??? Well! Mythology is also a mystery! Not one for Sherlock.

My attempt to organize the vast cluster of junk on hand into something readable - an insurmountable, if not unwanted, task to any earthling. The URLS have a wealth of stories, and even if you are not remotely drawn to myths, you can learn to do so the hard way J

Update on Wednesday, February 10, 1999

My primary objective while starting this page was to chip-in with interesting snippets on the various myths and stories that are profoundly confounding and at the same time be amazed at the limitless imagination in the legends themselves. Not only was it fascinating, it opened an entire world of characters, stories and theories that I continue to read, re-read and never ever tire. I intend to track the legends, how they are related and a who's who and attempt to find some, if not all multiple "W"s (the whys, whos, whats, whens, wheres, etc.). I am just around the corner to doing it and should be able to seed, nurture and grow the mythology tree into a forest. Not bad for myths with life spans of several hundred-thousand years, I guess. I also have started a short stories section, and will try updating it monthly.

Because Hercules is always the most famuous and popular legend, here is a picture of "The 12 labors of Hercules". The short story section has the 'Glaucus & Scylla' tale now. Comments welcome.
