I fancy having friends but it depends what type of friend to have

I have lots a friends, but a very small circle of close friends (people I really confide in and they are even kept at arms distance). Not many people have really gotten close to real me, I guess because I am so guarded and cautious. I haven't met a person yet I didn't like (well maybe one). I like real people who don't sugar-coat who they are. Some people call them rude, I call them abrasive and real. So you don't have to have a charming personality to be my friend as long as it's real. Friendship is important to me and i value it alot since normally it is friends who are always there for one whenever one is need. "Remember a friend in deed is a friend in need"
