What would the USE be without its Superstars?
Here's a good place to find out about your favorite (Or not so favorite) USE superstars..
Click on the category to see a list of superstars by their alignment. In case you haven't dealt with wrestling and are not used to the character alignment system,
it's pretty simple really; there are three (and only three) alignments. (Note: Your alignment can
change, but the USE will not have any dedicated mixes between the two / three) There's Face, Heel and Neutral. Faces, which is short for 'baby face'
is the equivalent of the good guys of the fed; they are the stereotypical 'crowd favorites' of the fed; they
usually get the girl, they dont cheat during matches, and their managers usually try to get the crowd riled up
to help them out. Then, there are Heels. The wrestlers everyone loves to hate, so much in fact that many times they
are popular. They use dirty low blows, back stage attacks, name-calling, weapons and cheating to win their battles,
inside or outside of the ting. Finally, there are the Neutrals. These guys will do either, basically. They either may just go out and
wrestle, and not talk to the press so they're not very much liked, or they may try to be a fan favorite, but try to pull
one over on the ref every once in a while. This can be a difficult alignment to play because too much in either alignment
may make the character appear to be turning that alignment.
This is where Alignment turns come into play. Firstly, they need to be pre-approved by Bernie (Me). You CAN NOT tell anyone else you are planning on an alignment turn because we will make this a big deal at a PPV or something, and it will just create cool plotlines, etc. What will happen is, during the months, you may find your push is getting low because you arent really living up to your alignment or something. (You may not see it in stats, but you might see that you start having trouble winning matches). At this point, you can decide to 'Turn'. Note, this obviously has to be from Face to Heel, or Heel to Face. Face to Heel is VERY simple to do. Just backstab someone on the mainstage. But Heel to Face? That requires forethought.. that requires just the right situation. That's where good roleplaying comes in. After your 'Turn', I'll wait a few days and see how it went over on the IC boards, etc. Depending on how well you RP the turn, and its reaction on the boards, your Push will either (at the very least) return to its initial value (instead of being lowered) from where it was, which can happen, or we may decide to give you more push- after all, HHH goes over much better as Heel, as the Rock goes over much better as a Face.. when the Rock was heel, if he had turned face in the fed, he would have gotten all of his push back and probably about 20% more, even if just for an event or two..
Again, this is something I Just want to toy with. If you think the idea is dumb or unrealistic, let me know. I am just looking for more ways to make viable stats that we can use for the purposes of roleplaying that are more mechanical and less 'well your plan is cooler so it should work' you know?
