Registration Policy

- Hello
colleagues! This project is pioneer, no school in the whole world have a
website facility as extensive as this - be proud you are from UPLB! Within a short period, we
expect registration, glimpsing and visits to become more lively. In as much as
you love
to find all your friends from UPLB in this site, a friend of yours out
there must have wished to find you here. Since
March 2001, registration has been going on. Please help us disseminate
invitation - everyone must register here - this site is specially created
for us after all.
- Registering your identity in the Batch Directory, Course Directory,
Alumni Directory, and Organization Directory of this site, is FREE
and purely voluntary. Joining is only for UPLB People - students, alumni, and staff.
- You would notice that when you register in the Directory of your
Batch, Class, Course and Organization, your Personal Web Page
and Personal Email Address are required. Your registration is
inutile if you don't have a Web Page and Email because your friends
will not be able to be linked to your personal web page where you
extend your presence on a 24x7 timeframe, nor can they contact you
electronically.
- IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN WEB PAGE, YOU CAN REGISTER IN THE DIRECTORY FOR
FREE AND WITHOUT ANY HASSLE.
- What if you don't have a Web Page? How can you register? We know
that only few members of the UPLB People community know how to build
their own Web Page that is why we are offering a Registration with a
Web Page Development Service, among others. When you register through
our WebPage Development Service, here is what you will get: we will build you a
homepage with your profile and picture in it then link your homepage
to the Directory of your freshman batch, grad class (like a Graduation
Yearbook), college/course, and organization. There is a one-time
fee when you register (see the Services
section for the updated rates). Your registration fee is used
by the webmaster to pay for the homepage-building technical
contractors, cost of regular workability tests, maintenance, and for
the internet time necessary upload your homepage to the three servers
- the local server, Geocities Server, and one more redundant server, among
other expenses. The webmaster works full-time to maintain this site
for the sustained enjoyment of the UPLB People.
- This website is an absolutely open access site. All information
offered in this site, including the personal homepages of the
registrants herein have no passwords, no usernames (except the link to
the Directory) and does not
require user/viewer fees. Practically, you must be certain that all information you entered in the Registration Form
are for public viewing. This site holds to an Absolute Public Viewing
Policy - no personal homepage here is locked. However, the registrant may
request the webmaster to
have his file to be updated, amended, or deleted subject to proper
identification protocol and service rate.
- The owner of this site, JRP Web Consulting, reserves its proprietary right, production
trade secret, and policy command. The registrants does not own a part or portion in this website.
None of the registrants shall get an extended authority to open and
alter any files or homepage in this site - the reason is to maintain the
integrity of the site.
- If these terms are acceptable to you, you may register now. Definitely, registering is
easy - the first thing you have to do is find and photocopy the
official Registration Form of this website. There may be spare Forms from your friends around you,
or you could also ask from any UPLB Kaiban member, or
if you are just in the campus you can pick up the Form at ANKERS Restaurant, Grove, UP College.
