OUR HISTORY

Unified was an idea born out of a desire for a new way to serve God in the Shenandoah Valley . Because there are not many avenues of Black Gospel music in this area, we wanted to bring this awesome style of worship to the people in the valley. So after a timely article in the Daily News Record and some posted flyers, we had our first practice on March 3, 2005 . We’ve been singing ever since.

God miraculously blessed us with talented singers as well as musicians who faithfully worked to bring an authentic but unique sound to some of black gospel’s favorites as well as some original pieces. After only two months, God opened several doors and poured out his blessing upon the group as they performed in their first three concerts – effectively proving that the choir was God’s conception and His tool for ministry.

Unified currently ministers in churches as well as concert events and festivals to bring glory to our Heavenly Father.
