Illustrated
UFO Encyclopedia v1.0
The Illustrated UFO Encyclopedia is collection
of UFO articles for DOS. In this shareware version, Kathy Long has
compiled three pictures and nine articles on identifying those
elusive flying objects. The usual suspects - alien abductors,
shifty FBI agents, and conspiracists - are rounded up here and
given somewhat specious consideration. Included are sections on a
supposed flying saucer being examined at the Roswell Air Force
base, a famous sighting at Groom Lake, speculations on the origin
and purpose of UFOs, a blueprint and plan for a spacecraft, and a
sampling of UFO-related documents culled from the Internet.

E.T.
Counter v0.9
E.T. Counter is a playful little program that calculates the
number of civilizations in our galaxy based on a wide set of
criteria that you supply. An attractive, easy-to-use
wizard-style interface allows you to input such things as the
number of stars that have planets, the possibility that
life-providing elements exist, the length of time that
civilizations exist, and much more. Obviously, it's all just
conjecture, but it's fun to play with -- and free. Online help
is included.

Mysterious
Disappearance of NASA Spaceships
Mysterious Disappearance of NASA Spaceships is a tiny etext that
comes with its own viewer. Unfortunately the moving cloud
background makes the black text almost impossible to read. There
are only two chapters to this brief saga, one on missing
satellites and one on a ski-area cable car mishap in France.
Neither is supported by links to references or background info.

A
New Hypothesis of Alien Abduction
A New Hypothesis of Alien Abduction is a small ebook that has
more than 30 brief chapters about alien abductions of humans.
The simple etext viewer is easy to use and the whole text
doesn't require much hard disk space, but it won't win any
awards for scientific research. You'll get some sensational
ideas and concepts, but you won't get any references, links to
Websites to validate the theories -- or even a search feature to
quickly jump through the text to the information you seek.
You'll read about CIA researchers kidnapping and applying
mind-altering techniques to citizens like you and me.

Aliens
Among Us: UFO Screen Saver v2.6.1
Get ready for a showdown between space creatures and mankind in
the Aliens Among Us: UFO Screen Saver. Your perspective is from
the surface of the moon, with the Earth in full view in the
night sky. Several saucer-like craft are seen, along with an
animated locating tower. The UFOs spin, wobble, and zoom off
toward Earth to begin their conquest. The program includes five
sci-fi sound effects (the volume of each may be separately
adjusted), an optional digital clock and customizable message,
and the ability to hide many of the 'saver's visual elements.
Other features include adjustments for mouse sensitivity, power
management, a speed control, and password protection.
