In Summer 99, I attended a 義工培訓服務計劃 organized by Leo Club HK KT 1. We had attended 3 lectures, helped in 2 service project (elderly home visit and organ donation) and went to a training camp at Ngong Ping, Lautau on 11-12 SEP 99.
TVB 愛心獻再生99 held at Tai Po Centre After the course, all the 20 attendees needed to cooperate together to work out a service project. Our product is called 青清計劃 which is a plan to encourage secondary school students to clean up the country park and learn some environmental protection and country park information.
Our project is not very successful actually. Only 3 secondary school teams joined the activity. Also many accidents appeared such as lateness of particpants, absence of the MC and inavailable of the places. Fortunately, we could overcome all of them and I felt satisfied when I saw the particpants enjoyed the programmes.
Our Sponsor-finding group was very hard-working, all these are sonveniors requested by them.
