Welcome to my Web site!

grad_ust2.jpg (435122 bytes) Hello, I am Pauline. I am now a MSc Computer Science cs_head_bf16.gif (3582 bytes)student in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

I graduated from the City University of Hong Kong 99_citylogo_new.gif (2813 bytes)in 1998. I am a sporty person. Running and hockey are my favorite sports. Besides, I like water sports such as rowing, canoeing, dragon boat and I started to learn canoe polo, wind-surfing and sailing last Summer. In fact, I was the team member of Cross-Country, Athletic and Club_logo.jpg (25724 bytes)Rowing team. I had joined the inter-U fencing competition in 94 as well. When I had on-job placement in Motorola Semiconductors HK Ltd. and as a staff in HKUST, I was a member of their dragon boat team. I could make friends with even the senior staff in the company!

In the past, I used to go hiking and wild camping every week when I was in F.6 & 7. I like the life style of back to nature. I learned rock climbing at that time and had a qualification of rock climbing supervisor. I had been part-time instructor of archery, rock climbing and net game in the Tai Tam and Tung Tsz Scout Camp in 94 and 95.

My most valuable experience was the life on Ji Fung - the Outward Bound logo9.gif (8178 bytes)Tall Ship. I got the Shell Outward Bound Scholarship from City U in 95 and spent 18 days for the Sea Diploma Course at my year 2 Summer. Only 6 were selected out of 50 students to participate the course. I learnt many inter-personal and leadership skills there. Moreover, I had chance to meet Ji Fung the second time - I was being chosen to be a sponsored crew in the International Tall Ship race. We drive Ji Fung from Hong Kong to Okinawa in 8 days and successfully won the 1st in the Class II B. I met people from different countries at that time. We had exchange our experience with crew on the other ships like the Russian Navy, Indonesian Navy and Japanese crew, even in my watch, we have crews from Brunei, Japan and Taiwan.

Recently, I become a member of the Leo Club KT1 kt1logo.gif (1146 bytes). I was the chairman of a service project 青清計劃 which has successfully finished on 24 OCT 99. I learned how to hold meeting and coordinate the 20 committees to work out our plan.
