Running

98 City Athletic Meet in 1500M

Running is an interesting sport. It is the simplest and easiest sport. You can start running with only a running shoes. By distance running, you can train up your fitness, endurance and patience. You can make many friends when you train or run with people. It's also funny to join races with over thousands of people.
Hockey

Hockey is an exciting sports. It can have both speed, personal skills and teamwork. You can use your only ball controlling skills to pass an opponent and it's satisfory when you copperate with your teammate to perform a goal!
Many people have mis-undersatnding towards field hockey. Actually its rules and fields are like football but it is much more °Ê§@Àu¬ü and exciting than many   other sports. Unlike ice hockey, it's less easily injured than football as it has no body touching during the game. Moreover, more and more chinese has been introduced to this interesting game by the Chinese Hockey Union HKCHUlogo.gif (17184 bytes).
Rowing

The Photo Taking before the Recreation Boat race at Joint-University Competition 97

Rowing is a sports good for keeping fit. During the preparation training for Joint 6 University competition, we row everyday, sometimes even have 2 session in a day and no holiday within the whole summer! The most effective result was you won't have any mood to eat after the heavy trainings. Therefore, usually I could get at least 8 pounds less at that time. However, it's easily to return back to normal.
Hiking

Hiking is a healthy sports. Although it seems an easy sports, actually it contains a lot of knowledge and experience related issues. From  my experience of coaching, it's extremely dangerous for several persons to go hiking without any knowledge. People may even go to the mountain without water, compass or map. They are crazy!
When I started hiking with DEA in F.4, I got no knowledge at all. It was beacuse there were lots of students and the coaches couldn't take care of everyone of them.
Thanks to HEBE Association, after I joined their Wild Camp training in 92. I learnt lots of skills such as map reading, camping, hiking and rock climbing.
Hiking became full  of funs to me since then and I was devoted to that very much at that time. I went hiking and wild camping every week even before the mock exam! =P
That's me ma. It developed my confidence and leadership skills as well.
