It is Spring time on the
farm.
Here in the South West Montana Rocky Mountain valley, Spring time comes late. Our Goat is still eating last years hay.
The
rabbits are still fairly tame and will allow us to feed them, the grass is
just starting to grow again. Soon it will be hard to get near them.
The chickens are out of the coop. Not a lot of food to forage yet. Did you know that chickens lay more eggs as the amount of daylight increases?
The
ducks are out foraging also, they will be glad when the spring thaw melts
the rest of the ice on the pond. There is a stream close by also but
there is not much water in it yet.
