Spring comes to Tuckers Happy Acres
Dear Friends, Spring is finally coming to Tuckers Happy Acres. The birds that went south for the winter have returned and are building nests. Mother Duck and Mother goose are laying eggs and sitting on nests. I have seen tiny baby rabbits peeking from under the wood pile .
It is still snowing here. Everything was covered with a blanket of white early this morning, but by 10:00 a.m. the sun had melted it all away. The tulip and purple hyacinth bulbs are sending up green shoots to peek through the snow. The apple and pear trees are starting to bud. Soon we will be starting to plant the garden.
