The Question
This gentle time together helps me appreciate you.
The waves and setting sun pale to your beauty.
Your wonderful smile,
profound inner strength,
and tender understanding,
have given me all I could ask for in a lifetime.
No one has been more patient in all these years,
than you my darling,
your uncomplaining heart an anchor to me,
your willingness to sacrifice and stay with me,
couldn't possibly be matched by anyone else.
There have been many hard times,
and you could have easily found solace in another,
yet you have remained by my side,
knowing all will work out with love and understanding.
And now I must ask you my dear,
a painful question,
you know how I tend to hide things,
yet I must be honest,
and you surely deserve that for your devotion.
Knowing your gentle heart will be fair,
makes it easier to ask....
SO? Which way do you think it is to our hotel? I'm lost!
