Blackburn College Changes Theater Masks To All Smiles

T. R. Logsdon
After choosing a series of dramatic and serious plays, Blackburn College theater director, Richard T. Young says, "It's time for a comedy." To break the cycle is Neil Simon's The Good Doctor.

This side splitting comedy, based on the works of Russian Author Anton Chekhov, keeps the audience laughing all the way through at the timeless humor.

Blackburn's production stars Josh Schesvold, as The Writer. He journeys though the play to find a new story, and takes the audience with him into his mind and imagination.

The Good Doctor opens Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m. It will also be shown Oct. 28 and Oct. 29 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door for $5.00. Blackburn students, faculty, and staff are invited free of charge.
