Scottish Fold
The breed began in 1961 when a kitten was born with its ears folded flat on its head, to a Perthshire farmer, William Ross. He established a breeding line and thus the Scottish Fold began. It ws recognized for championship status in North America in 1978.

Further Information
They have short legs with a powerful and stocky body. They have round eyes and a round face. Their eye colour usually matches their coats and their ears are folded towards their heads. The are very good natured and calm.
