Okay, I'm on a roll here. Not too much with questions or theories, just me venting out my frustrations with the current state of our society. This sections has been rightfully named "Stupid People. (Or for the PC crowd...Stupid Actions...I'm leaving that one alone.)

Stupid People #1: Drivers who talk on cell phones that are not the hands free kind.
We've all seen them as we drive down our local roads; heck we might have been one from time to time. I've made a general observation about this breed of stupid people; they can't drive. They are so into their conversations they don't pay attention to other drivers or speed limit signs that actually say they are allowed to drive faster then they are. I know there are other distractions while driving, i.e. smoking, eating, drinking, other passengers, radios, but we as a species have learn to adapt to these distractions since we've been doing them for so long. As for the over abundant use of cell phones, this, for the mass populace, is a new distraction.

Stupid People #2: Drivers who ride your A$$
Okay, this one is a huge pet peeve. Not only is it inconsiderate, it's also extremely dangerous. Come on people, a little common sense would tell you that if I had to make a sudden stop you'd be making a sudden stop too in the back of my car. Riding on the ass-end of my car is not going to make me drive faster, is not going to make me change lanes if it's not clear or if I just feel like irking you on, and it's not going to make you get to your destination any faster. The only thing you are accomplishing is annoying everyone else around you.

Stupid People #3: People who bring small children to movie theaters
Okay, here's another common sense one. You take a small child, put them in a dark room and tell them not to make a sound for 2 hours. Yeah, right. Find a babysitter. And if you can't find one, then maybe going to the movies is not all that important.

Stupid People #4: People who smoke around young children
Now this isn't aimed at your average smoker. Up until a few years ago I was part of that group myself. I really don't care one way or another if someone smokes, unless they are doing it in front of kids. Maybe these people haven't been hearing about the really harmful effects of second hand smoke. I'd imagine you'd have to be living under a rock not to hear this information though. It's one thing in front of an adult. They can make the choice of whether or not to stick around, but your kids are not very likely going to be walking away when you light up. This is probably one of the worst acts done by stupid people that I can think of.

Stupid People #5: People who throw away common sense.
When did we start heading back to the middle ages? When did we start believing that witches rode brooms again, thus something as evil as Harry Potter would teach our children to be able to as well? When did we start believing again that any sexual thought that we may have is not our fault, but must be because someone did some occult thing to us or we were being attacked by an evil spirit? In this day and age it seems the more advanced we get the more supertious we are becoming again. It also seems to me that a lot of people don't want to take responsiblities for their own actions or thoughts, and in an attempt to seem more pious to themselves they use some sort of unseen entity as the scapegoat. What is going on? Just look to any anti-new age or occult websites and you'll see exactly what I mean. Let me guess, we're going to start tieing up suspected witches and throwing them in the river to see if they drown again. Why can't people open their eyes? (shakes head in frustration)
