You put these together and you get the feel of a person. Enough to know how much you miss them...and how much you hate the person who took them away...I can't remember to forget you...
Welcome to Lain...Disconnected version 3.1 - Tragic Dreams of Reminiscence. There is a required screen resolution at a minimum of 800 x 600. About the Layout...
Tragic Dreams: the original name of my site and the portal to my collective, Lain...Disconnected. This is the first layout I've ever used for the main portal that was made by me - I'm rather proud of it, though I know it doesn't hold a candle to the creations of those who've been doing web design for years. It actually started out as a public layout that I was going to put on my graphics page, but I quickly developed a bond with it and decided to keep it for myself. (Is that selfish? Hmm...I don't mean to be...) In any case, I found the picture on a random site - I'll get the link and put it up with the credits. The words are lyrics from songs ("Isola" by Ilya, "Walk Away" by Mad at Gravity, and "Three Libras" by A Perfect Circle") and there are some quotes from the movie Memento. I tried to stick with the whole "memory" theme I've been vibing on lately. I may be driving myself insane. There's a whole paragraph about the significance of the theme on my anime site. Yeah. o.OJoined...

Agh, the new domain name is up!!!! I can hardly believe it! I've got a lot of work to do and no time to do it. But hopefully I'll be able to get things going soon! Gotta run!

So I haven't updated in a while. All apologies. I joined a fanlisting for the movie The Fifth Element (what a damn amazing movie...). I've also done a bit more over on the anime site with the Fruits Basket section. Other than that, I haven't had time for much. I did notice that the tagboard has been causing error messages on the site - I hate that, but there's not much I can do about it unless I take it down altogether. Which I don't want to do, despite its infrequent use. I do have good news, however. Today I purchased my own domain name. Lain...Disconnected will soon be moving to www.saturninedream.com! I've already started moving files over (and learning to use an FTP client in the process - talk about confusion - I hate it when I don't know what the hell I'm doing...). But don't get your hopes up too high - first of all, you won't be able to access the new site for an unknown period of time because my host has to get all my dns info prepared for its stay in cyberspace. On top of that, everything will be the same because I haven't had time (and prolly won't have time for a while) to reconfigure the site for the new name. So yeah. I'm kinda excited, but kinda not. I wish I had more time. I'm torn between so much right now. Still I rock on. I rock hard.
