CREED HEADED BACK ON THE ROAD

LEAD SINGER SCOTT STAPP GREEN-LIGHTED TO RESUME TOURING

Orlando, FL -- Creed are set to resume their Weathered Tour on Thursday July 11th in Virginia Beach. The band will play 30 shows on the first leg of this tour including make-up shows in Indianapolis, Fargo, and Moline. The original shows in these markets were cancelled in late April when lead singer Scott Stapp was involved in an automobile accident in his hometown of Orlando, FL. The first leg of the tour will concentrate mostly on Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic cities. The entire tour will be presented by VH1.

The second leg of the tour will start in San Antonio on September 20th, and will again include make-up shows in Phoenix, Oklahoma City, Las Cruces, Las Vegas, Sacramento, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Tacoma, Portland, Spokane, and Salt Lake City.

Tickets for all first leg shows will go on sale throughout June and early July. Tickets from any previously cancelled engagements will not be honored at the new shows.

Stapp suffered back injuries during the accident, including a torn disk in his lower back and a bulging disc in his neck. Doctors have cleared Stapp to perform again after allowing time for the discs in his back to heal. In addition, they were happy with the success of a rigorous physical therapy and strengthening program.

Creed Eyes B-Sides Album To Follow Tour

"I think that in our minds right now, and this could definitely change, we're thinking about putting out a B-sides album after we're done touring this record, which will contain a lot of B-sides that people already know, but also probably 10 or 12 other songs that our fans have never heard before," Stapp tells CDNOW
However, Creed fans shouldn't get too excited. According to a spokesperson for the band, a B-sides album will not be seeing the light of day anytime soon.
