Joe Bolton, Bowling Green, Kentucky, 1984

Joe Bolton was born December 3, 1961 in Cadiz, Kentucky. He is the author of three books of poetry: Breckenridge County Suite,Days of Summer Gone and The Last Nostalgia, which was edited by Donald Justice and published by the Arkansas Press. Joe Bolton graduated summa cum laude from Western Kentucky University. He completed his MA at University of Florida and his MFA at University of Arizona. In March of 1990, he committed suicide.
