Harris Government's Ontario Hunting and Fishing Heritage Act is "Non-Negotiable" In the strongest terms possible, our Premier has vowed to stand up for outdoors men and women of Ontario to ensure Hunting and Fishing "rights" are law in the province of Ontario. This is a landmark piece of legislation to which each province or territory in Canada will look when taking that first step towards initiating their own hunting and fishing laws. Ultimately, this moves us one step closer to incorporating our rights, as are the rights of aboriginal Canadians, into the constitution of Canada. I encourage you to write Mr. Harris and congratulate him and his government in this history making initiative. I also encourage you to write to your local newspaper's letter to the editor section applauding his initiative and giving sound reason for why you believe this essential legislation will benefit all Ontarians. Act today and let all Canadian levels of government know when the hunting and fishing community is behind them.
