I have just finished restoring a TMC GPR90 to showroom condition. She is a GREAT performer. I also obtained the SSB converter and will restore this item after Christmas. Is there any way to obtain the same sensitivity on the broadcast band as measured on the SW bands. John W. Watkins Jr. Richmond, Va.

I noticed that there is now a scan of the AMC-32 antenna multicoupler brochure on the site. Has anyone been able to locate a schematic diagram of this unit yet? If so, please post it. Thanks.

As a final comment I live about two miles from where the company used to be and in closing will inform you that Frank Budetti after 45 years with Tmc mostly as the transmitter eng neer passed away on 4 sept 2000 after 45 years of service.

William "Bill" Henneberry from TMC's education and manuals department told me to check out this web sight. He's kvelling right now because he saw his name mentioned in John K2CIPs memories section. Bill (now KN2X) should be contacted and queeried for his memories and take on things. He has more than a few to share. Anyway, this is a great website - and after playing radio for 30 years, I still want a GPR-90 and SB-adapter!

New to the TMC world. Have a good GPR-90, a fair SBE-2 and a poor RFC-1. Looking for a boneyard of TMC parts. Is there one? Especially for the RFC-1. Nice to have this site! Thanks

Sirs; I need a schematic for a TMC GPR90. How do I go directly to the schematic without having to display each and every page of the manual starting with the front page. I don't have that much paitence. I just the schematic. Thanks; GLK
Well, start here, and you will find the complete schematic broken down into 4 pages. Good luck on your restoration, and do let us know how it turns out!

My dad, Joe Toman (W2ANX) started the production operation for TMC in 1950 at Spencer Place in Mamaroneck and for a number of years was director of purchasing. I worked for TMC as a summer job from 1950 through 1954. As a college senior, I had a couple of projects on the GPT-750 and the PMO. I also designed a part of the FFR and the remotely-tuned radios (I forget the nomenclature). My call then was W2UFT. I'm now K2KQ and I live in Pleasantville, NY. It's nice to see someone keeping the flame alive on some great equipment designed by even greater people.

This receiver provided me with many hours of SW listening.Very fine rx.Nearly 74 y.o. and without a rx for the first time in many years...decided to have a look at a computer..its fun,but not the overall thrill of dragging in a weak signal from across the world. The rx I had was the only one I ever knew about in South Australia..Kind regards.

Does anyone have a schematic or manual for the LMC-32 antenna multicoupler? Nice unit, 1 antenna in, 32 outputs. These were sold out quickly last year by W.J. Ford surplus. Many purchased them, but I know of no one with manual or schematic.

I'm going to restore the GPT-10K if I can get all the parts that I need. I believe in running the legal limit, but these things are too great to be left for the scrap heap. I need all the parts/info that's available so if you guys have any leads, please get in touch. Thanks, Bob KB4UEH. P.S. Love this website!!! keep it up.

I restored my PAL500 to its original configuration and it works just great 500+ watts on SSB and 250 to 300 watts AM I use the transverter ouput(1/2 watt)of a YAESU FL101 to drive the PAL500 The STE 5/U exciter also works ok but I have no manual for it and its limited to 75 meters Any suggestions I have found the TMC gear very well built and easy to work on Regards Ted B VE7TMB
