Tisha, an accomplished singer and actress, received her bachelor's degree in drama from Hunter College in New York. She has performed in New York City in works such as Dario Fo’s Dialogue for One Voice at LaMama, Carol Churchill’s Top Girls and other classic and original works. A former nightclub singer, Tisha was selected to participate in a performance workshop with the legendary folk singer Pete Seeger. She was also a member of the Warner Brothers’ recording artist group Ex-Girlfriend. Other performing highlights include singing at the Pierre Hotel in Manhattan as part of a star-studded party for the late Olympian Florence Griffith Joyner and doing background vocals for hit recording artists Lisa Lisa & The Cult Jam. In February 2002, Tisha was proud to co-produce the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway play Syndrome, which also had an extremely well received run at the Finborough Theater in London. She is currently dividing her time between New York and Los Angeles in order to pursue some exciting opportunities in film and television.
