Xband-Video game network that was started on Sega,unsuccessfully, and improved on the SNES.This was the ONLY video game network for a home system.It was tons of fun. I was on Xband as Paladin,SuRGE, and Kabu.

I started as Paladin and made a name for myself on KI.during summer '96, I moved Paladin to slot 2 and played Weaponlord on it.In my first slot I created SuRGe.That name was feared on KI nationwide.I joined the best "clubs" like U*D, -TeK-,and CoI.In KI,I beat the best players but didn't get ranks because,as all the real players knew,Xband was ruled by cheaters.I think the only players in KI that I just could NOT beat were ToKeN,Mr.Wizard,and Destroyer. I beat Imagn,Heatseeker,Darth Vader,Manson,Cyber Crip,Uno,and Looney. I almost beat Lord GameGod.My final record on Ki w/SuRGe was 637 wins, 179 losses,an 153,072 points.

As Paladin,I ruled Weaponlord.After Scatterbrain(my mentor) and DJames(the creator) left the network,I was unbeatable by everyone except Viper and WillOWisp who were almost my equals.My final record in that was 12576 points,235 wins,17 losses, and 3500 national rank points.

My locals were VeRt!gO and Red Devil!.They was some freaky people!

I think the best places to play were Austin,TX, New York,NY, and Orlando Florida.My favorite place was Austin,I made many friends there.

Write Xband and ask them to make their network for PSX,Saturn,and N64 please!
