· SEAOF was incorporated as a non-profit organization on May 24, 2001

· SEAOF website was developed in May 2001

· $150.00 was donated to DucSon orphanage in Hue, VN in April 2001

June, 2001
· The Pho_Cafe group donated $300.00 to the SEAOF to buy medicine, food, school supplies and cloth for three orphanages in Saigon and surrounding suburbs.   Dat Truong has volunteered to deliver the goods to the orphans on his vacation to VietNam on June 27th, 2001.

P. Peter Nguyen was interviewed by Vietnamese Broadcast of Minnesota to bring awareness of the SEAOF mission to the Vietnamese community of Minnesota.  The interview will be broadcast on Saturday July 7th from 9:30pm-10:00pm on channel 32 in Minneapolis and on channel 33 in St. Paul.

The Secretary of State of Minnesota has officially granted the SEAOF an official document to show the establishment of the Southeast Asian Orphanage Foundation (SEAOF).

In April, 2001, Loc and Hiep Nguyen, both of whom are SEAOF volunteers, visited the Duc Son orphanage in Hue, VN. There they had the opportunity to witness the first-hand hardships and lifestyles of the Duc Son’s orphans. On behalf of SEAOF, they donated $150.00 to support the children for food, clothes, and school supplies.
