:: THE RISING ::

The Rising is an Irish 5-piece tribute band to one of the greatest singer/songwriters and performers of all time - Bruce Springsteen. Aptly nicknamed "The Boss", Bruce Springsteen has dominated the world of rock and roll for over 3 decades.

This unrivaled tribute show is made up of 5 of the most talented and committed musicians in Ireland. Like Springsteen and the E-Street Band, the members of The Rising share a love of the music that makes their show a thoroughly memorable, moving and entertaining experience. Whether you are a fan of Bruce's powerful rock songs, his moody ballads, or you just love good music, this show will deliver.

The Rising are:

Vinny Ryan as Bruce Springsteen. Vinny has many years' experience as a singer and performer. He has always been a huge fan of Bruce, and this passion for the Boss's music brings the power and energy to his performance that is synonymous with the Boss's own stage shows.

Andrew Byrne on bass guitar. Formerly a member of Born to Run (another Springsteen tribute that played extensively throughout Ireland including at The Olympia Theatre in Dublin), Andrew has many years experience on the circuit. He also played with Hotel California (an Eagles tribute band) and the Coolcats.

Conor Brady on lead guitar. Conor has many years' experience playing all around Ireland and is one of the leading session guitarists in the country.

Ronan Tierney on keyboards and piano. Formerly a member of Born to Run, Ronan has been playing Springsteen's music with a passion for years. He believes that playing in The Rising is the closest he will ever get to playing with the man himself... "I just close my eyes and I'm there on stage with the Boss."

Paul Daly on drums. Also a former member of Born to Run, Paul has been drumming to Springsteen's songs for years. As one of the best drummers in the country, he says he has never enjoyed playing drums as much as in The Rising.
