Charlie Holzapfel was born in New Jersey, probably Atlantic City. His parents names are Jacob Holzapfel and Nettie Holzapfel both from Germany. He has an older brother, Herman Holzapfel and an older sister Elizabeth. His mother died April 30, 1905 and his father married Kathie Wagner in 1906. Charlie has two half-brothers and one half-sister from this marriage.Charlie was baptized at the German Presbyterian Church of Atlantic City, NJ although his family were Lutherans. He grew up in Atlantic City and attended the Massachusetts Public School.
Charlie was last heard from at his father's funeral August 11, 1930. If Charlie is alive, he would be 96 years old. His half-sister and his niece (me) would love to find him or his family. If anyone knows of Charlie, his family or his descendants, please e-mail genroots@searchforancestors.com
