Flipbooks are part of what got me started in animation. And I have to give credit to a 6th grade teacher who had our class make a small flipbook one day in class. I went home and right away started making more. At one point I literally had a briefcase full of stickman flipbooks.Here are a couple sample video clips of flipbooks.
