 | March 17-18 I will be in the Pittsburgh area for the March Air National
Guard drill. I will interview for an officer position and likely get
drunk that night (St. Patrick's Day). |
| April 1 the Boy will be baptized. A reception will follow for those invited. |
| I recently interviewed for an officer position with my unit. I was
selected. So, my eleven year career in Intelligence will end as I
become a Services officer. No word on when I leave for school.
Likely, it will be in the next federal fiscal year. |
| Bum deal. I went for a commissioning physical and found out I have
hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with outflow tract obstruction. Basically,
part of my heart is larger than normal. This flies in the face
of the criticism that I have no heart. The condition is a continuing
service disqualifier and I need a waiver just to stay in the military.

| We welcome a new addition to our house. Recently, we adopted Biko, a
Rhodesian Ridgeback. Personally, I think it's kinda cool that the
breed was bred for hunting lions. |
