Now, I woundn't mind paying the 10 or so bucks a month for the extra traffic, but they require a credit card for payment, and I don't have one!
I could start putting ads on my page and get some income to pay for the site. (You only get credit cards if you have an income, but if you already have cash, why do you need credit?) Or turning this newspage into a HTML e-mail and sending it to a list of subscribers. Stay tuned, for there may be some changes comming....

Minty(AK): Well, we are MAKING it... and we run the contest too.
TFN: Right... and who is "we"?
Minty(AK): Well, Me, Serena Lightflower and StoneEyes...
TFN: I see. How did you come up with this idea?
Minty(AK): Just thought it would be a nice present for the furs who have followed our site. Initially the calendar should have been a site calendar, but 'rena thought that actually putting Furcadia people in it would have been nicer towards our readers. By the same concept, allowing them to choose who was in and who wasn't was thought to be a good idea.
TFN: Interesting. So who will be the artists for this project?
Minty(AK): Serena and Fred (AKA StoneEyes). I would, but being the site's writer I can't draw worth spit...
TFN: *smiles* Any others?
Minty(AK): Not really... We are taking care of this ourselves. We ARE thinking of a guest art page, but that's a whole different thing.
TFN: How long have you been on Furcadia?
Minty(AK): Two and a half years, maybe three. My long term memory ain't that hot...
TFN: What else have you done Furcadia-related?
Minty(AK): Mmmm... Well, apart from the three pages of Furcadia art, a detailed article on furries in the RL world and lots of talking, not much.
TFN: Do you have a dream of your own?
Minty(AK): Well, yes... just not here. It's sort of a castle me and my other alts use from time to time. And it's a private one.
TFN: I see. What exactly is a felitaur?
Minty(AK): Just a second...

Minty(AK): This is an old pic... Actually, I have a tuft of fur at the end of the tail, and my leonine half is quite taller. Before you ask (IF you ask): No, I'm not a chakat.
TFN: So... is it true that you are the inspiration for the felitaur form in Honcho's Hangout?
Minty(AK): That'd be flattering...
Honcho: It is true.... that I made the felitaur character for Minty.
Minty(AK): But actually, there are a lot of 'taurs in Furcadia, and Honk is quite inventive on his own.
TFN: What is the difference between a felitaur and a chakat?
Minty(AK): Well, actually both Aths [Minty's race] and chakats are felitaurs... but they're genemods, while Aths are not.
TFN: Um... come again?
Serena Lightflower: Heya! Sure you can! *blushes* My 1st interview..........
TFN: Um... okay. How are you involved in this calendar project?"
Serena Lightflower: Well... Minty had the idea first, I liked a lot. I asked my boyfriend for his agreement (he draws too, like me)... then we started. I will draw about 6 pics I think. Federico (my bf), will do the others.
TFN: I see. How long have you been an artist?
Serena Lightflower: ...'til I was born! Now I'm 27, so...well, let's say that it was when I decided to do art school: I was 14 So it's about 7 years
TFN: What is your preferred drawing medium and style?
Serena Lightflower: simple pencil and Photoshop, of course!
TFN: I hear that the Japaneese Gardens dream is your creation.
Serena Lightflower: yes it is. I did it all by myself in.. well a week or so, in the spare time
TFN: Really? That short of time. Did you create all the images yourself?
Serena Lightflower: No.. just the portrait patch. The Japanese one is by Athene. Her website link is on my site (don't remember the url now...)
TFN: Do you have any other dreams?
Serena Lightflower: Yes.. I did a mage tower for AlarKhar (a Minty's alias) and the Romance Club. Sometimes I upload it... it's a lonely hearths dream.
TFN: Thinking about starting a dating service for furres?
Serena Lightflower: well I liked to.. but I am not so often online. I wanted to give it to a friend, as a gift. it has the Sanctuary patch, the flowered one.
TFN: Are there any other projects you are working on?
Serena Lightflower: sure!!! I'm taking part to an animation contest with a webcartoon I did: "Neko-chan's small world": Minty wrote the story,, I've animated and directed it . All in Flash!4. I need votes!!! I wanna win!
Minty(AK): ...well, so does Fred... He did a flashtoon too.

Minty(AK): Not really... it's just a more practical way to be.
TFN: Practical? Meaning you can use either bathroom if one is crowded?
Minty(AK): yes... and we can reproduce as needed. Plus, sexism is meaningless for an Ath or a Chakat.
TFN: Is Club Kashmir your normal hangout?
Minty(AK): Yes... unless it's down, then either I park my four-leg traction near the wall, or check Honk's place.
TFN: Honk?
Minty(AK): Honcho.
TFN: Oh. Is there anything else you want to add about the calander?
Minty(AK): Well, not much. It's a calendar, has pictures and is quite totally unofficial. It will be in Desktop AND printable formats.
TFN: Are you planning on having it advertised officially in Furcadia?
Minty(AK): We tried, but No Can Do... Oh, just a thing: Remember my team mate Serena? Ever heard of the Japanese Garden? It's hers.
TFN: And StoneEyes?
Minty(AK): He has no sites... he just draws. (JUST... between the pictures and the comic, he has his paws full...)
TFN: I see. Is Honcho contributing? He's a pretty decent artist himself.
Minty(AK): Well, no. He offered, but I told him he could contribute to the Guest Art page himself... instead. Does it show that I'm kind’a tired?
