The 17-acre woodland setting is a wonderful place to enjoy nature and the great outdoors every season of the year. It is a perfect environment for either rest and relaxation or fun and recreation.

The cottage is surrounded by rolling tree-covered terrain and has 1,000 feet of river frontage. The river provides excellent swimming, canoeing and fishing in the summer and, in the spring, it is a popular white water route. In the winter, the trails that meander through the woods are great for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. They serve as nature trails the remainder of the year. In the Spring, there is a back-yard maple syrup-making operation, and the sweet smell of boiling sap permeates the air. In the Summer and Fall, wild flowers, songbirds and other wildlife welcome and entertain you in this beautiful woodland retreat.
