Sampa, a month old kitten we found lost in a park, cold, scared, vulnerable and starved during our travel to Sao Paulo, Brasil,has brought us o much joy that it will be nearly impossible to attempt to put it in words. When my sister, just a couple of months ago, ran into Squidgey's web site, she immediately asked me to pay it a visit. On doing so, I couldn't help but brake down in sobbing loud tears as if I felt myself the great pain you faced when Squidgey left this g eat earth. I didn't know then why that was, all I knew was that I found a great deal of resemblance between Sampa and Squidgey - the sweet eyes, the goofey and lovable ways, the kindred spirit... the beautiful aliveness inside of such tiny body. Well,toni ht the reason has finally become clear to me as I found my beloved one laying on the side of the cold asphalt... I couldn't believe it, I just could not believe it! I'm still at a state of shock since it's been only about three hours from the time we foun him a little after midnight. I can't close my eyes and go to sleep even though that is what I wish the most right now - that I sleep, open my eyes in the morning and it was nothing but a bad dream. And he'd be lying by my side with his head tucked betwee my head and shoulder just the way he used to do every morning. I'm so desparate...! Though I knew he wasn't going to live long, for everything that brings great happiness never sticks around for too long, I could've never imagine it would be this soon. He will be terribly missed. I am also on my fith Capri - Black A reg 1.6 LS with Laser alloys, it only cost me £100 in December as an MOT failure - it took a LOT of welding luckily I have y own MIG welding plant. it recently past it's MOT and it drives like new. I am thinking of joining the Capri Club International is it worthwhile ?. I'm not too bothered about events I'm mainly interested in the monthly magazine and spare's list - I think my carb is on it's last legs and am considering buying a brand new one and think I may get a discount from the club ?. My last Capri was a 2.0S "Injection lookalike" - bloody awful car constantly broke down and the wings rusted away in a matter of months !. Before that I had a 2.0 Ghia MK 2 lovely car silver with a vinyl roof, n ver had a bit of bother with it. Before that I had a couple of "rough" MK 1s which I ended up scrapping. I am also on my fith Capri - Black A reg 1.6 LS with Laser alloys, it only cost me £100 in December as an MOT failure - it took a LOT of welding luckily I have y own MIG welding plant. it recently past it's MOT and it drives like new. I am thinking of joining the Capri Club International is it worthwhile ?. I'm not too bothered about events I'm mainly interested in the monthly magazine and spare's list - I think my carb is on it's last legs and am considering buying a brand new one and think I may get a discount from the club ?. My last Capri was a 2.0S "Injection lookalike" - bloody awful car constantly broke down and the wings rusted away in a matter of months !. Before that I had a 2.0 Ghia MK 2 lovely car silver with a vinyl roof, n ver had a bit of bother with it. Before that I had a couple of "rough" MK 1s which I ended up scrapping. Our cat Flash was just like your cat..in our family since kittenhood and loved by us as much as a h man would be...for 18 years a total member of our family. I know we were lucky to never have him ill until a year ago but even up until last week he showed no signs that he was in any distress.But then he stopped eating.And over a week he withered away as we held him and gave him water. The pain is very real and very horrible I know exactly how you feel. |

Was this site of any use to you?: Yup! | Comments: I had the same problem with the gearbox speedo drive. It took me two hours and cost me one rear oil seal to fix it. Take the access blank out and remove the driven gear, this gives 'feely' access. Remove the oil seal, with the prop off. Use a very long thin screwdriver and with a bit of patience you can knock it back on. It has to go up a chamfered shaft so you'll need to vary the screwdriver position to get it on straight. Best of luck. |
