The Sinton Family seem to have been Quakers (members of the Society of Friends)
and lived near Larne, Northern Ireland. With not much information on the Sinton
Family, I have included details of some of their descendants, who were also Quakers.

David Sinton (born about 1727), of Unshinagh in the Barony of Glenarm Lower, parish
of Tichmacrevan as recorded in a census under the Poor Law Union; it is near Larne,
Northern Ireland. He married in about 1750 and had two daughters of which Eavey
was born 1753 and died 21 March 1823 aged 70 years.
Eavey married on 19 Jan 1772, in Moycullen, Northern Ireland, William Bell of Clare,
Co Down, N. Ireland. They had eleven children of which their eldest daughter,
Frances Bell (8 Jan 1773 – 1 Jan 1841) married 27 Mar 1796 Henry Haydock (1765-
1825). They had 8 children of which Isabella Haydock married in Lurgan, Armagh,
Northern Ireland, on 9 Jan 1833, George Thompson
, son of Joseph Thompson and
Mary Williams. Joseph, himself, the son of another George Thompson and Sarah
Bullah
.

Among the other children of Eavey Sinton and William Bell was Jacob Sinton Bell
1788-1789. Another Jacob Sinton Bell was born 1792 but he also died very young in
1794.

Henry Haydock and Frances Bell had other children of which one Sinton Haydock was
born on 15 Mar 1805.
