"Non-racing?" - you ask. Yes, Carmageddon series is a 100% Auto Non-racing championship. "Auto" - because, in spite of adjustment to the rules of super malevolent competition, the vehicles you drive still remind of usual automobiles. "Non-racing" - because nobody in this event cares about racing at all! Nobody gives a pedestrian's life about places, checkpoints and medals. You can go off the road at all and forget it! You ride everywhere your car is able to go. Your objective - survival... Well, if you are used to righteous "formula one" types of racing, and Need For Speed is now deep in your blood, if your plan is to outspeed everyone and reach the finish first - well, you better get outta here now. There are, of course, checkpoints for those nerds, who prefer the "boring style", but with the rules of THIS game, you'll hardly make it to the first checkpoint.
THE GOLDEN RULE OF CARMAGEDDON IS:

YOU CAN WIN WITHOUT GETTING TO A SINGLE CHECKPOINT.
YOU CANNOT WIN WITHOUT FIGHTING A SINGLE FIGHT.
