On January 2, 1996, after completing one semester at Northwestern State
University, Leslie fractured her C6-C7 vertebrae in a car crash. Her spinal
cord was bruised and she is still in a wheelchair today.

Leslie has been affiliated with Think First since 1996. She has been a
speaker for Think First as well as serving on our current Board of Directors.
She works at Walsh Timber Company in Natchitoches, LA.

In 2000 Leslie graduated from Northwestern State University with a degree in
sociology. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and
swimming.
