     Cinematography and TV activities brought Timothy Dalton not only necessary variety of roles and financial independence but also world fame however in corcondance with our viewpoint and the actor's confession he is a "man of theatre" to which he is obliged for his irreproachable preparation in all fields of acting skill.

     Roles of Rochester in unfading "Jane Eyre" and King Vittorio in "The King's Whore", Rhett Butler in "Scarlett" and James Bond in "License to Kill", Juan de Avilar in "El Hombre..." and Bankroft in "Hawks" played by Dalton highly raised our idea of acting art possibilities.

     Currently having considered numerous works of this outstanding actor we slightly envy people who are just about to start their journey through new information! But our pilgrims will face considerable complications, initial of which is what and how to select - after all Timothy Dalton succeeded to do a lot for cinematography and TV.

     I'm sure we can't manage here without any classification! Considering the fact that availability of any classification is much better than lack of it we propose 3 approaches for studying Mr. Dalton's screen activities:
      - by selecting favorite genre,
      - being delighted by presentation of unlike characters,
      - following formation and development of Timothy's talent,
        looking through his works in, chronological order.
