The re enactments are aimed at one specific military expedition, one precise point in history - an unforgiving challenge to a re enactor! Commonly available furtrader gear is inappropriate.

Your membership in the South Dakota Chapter of the Lewis & Clark Trail Heritage Foundation assists in properly outfitting re enactors. The gifts are managed by the Chapter, not by individuals.

Affiliation with the Lewis & Clark Trail Heritage Foundation provides non-financial support, such as access to insurance and historical information. State Chapters are autonomous. National affiliation provides credibility to local efforts.

Chapter Bylaws require that we receive a written application for membership from each prospective member. Please copy and print this membership application and send with your check or money order. Thank you!
